My first Indie polish review!!

Hello everyone,

Today I'm going to show you Unicorn Farts by Perception Nail Lacquer. Amy from Mani-Mommies on Facebook was giving the lucky person who sent over 7 people to like their page a full size bottle of  Unicorn Farts and I was the lucky person!! I was so excited because I really wanted it, but was unable to buy it.
Anyway, it didn't disappoint even a little bit. In fact I think it's even better in person.

So, on to the pics!

I just had to get a close up of the poor little Unicorn. Poor guy needs some Beano or Gas-x hahaha.
Caption should read: ERMAHGERD DO NOT TASTE THE RAINBOW!! LOL

Anyway back to the polish. Unicorn Farts is a pretty lilac purple with what I would call a scattered holo.
This was 2 coats plus 2 coats of Gelous and 1 coat of Out The Door. This one is a top coat EATER!! But that doesn't matter because it's super pretty :)
It was a little on the thick side but not bad and was easy to apply.
And despite the name it didn't have a funky smell, so Unicorn Farts must not smell that bad.

This is a winner in my book and I will surely buy more!

You can find Preception Nail Lacquer on Facebook here and on Etsy here.

What do you think of my first Indie review? Have you gotten any Perception Nail Lacquer polishes?

Surprise Inside!!

Hello everyone,

I have a BIG surprise for all my reader's at the end of this post, so keep reading to find out what it is.

But, first I have a few swatches to show you and a review of the swatches!

Julep was kind enough to send me a free box to try out and review for all of you!  As many of you             know Julep is located in Seattle, so I was really excited to feature a product made in my state!
I took their test and got It Girl and here is what was in it.

                                                                First up Julep Blake

Blake is a soft yet bright sunny yellow creme. It reminds me of my daffodil's blooming in the spring!!
Application was a bit difficult. When I first tried it, it was really thick so I put a little thinner in it. I think it was thick from sitting in my mail box and it was 86 degree's outside!
After I put the polish thinner in it, it was a bit better but was still a little streaky, but not as bad as other yellow's I have tried, so I had to use 3 coats to even it out.
Over all I like Blake and will use it again!

                                                                      Next is Claire

Claire is a very pretty sky blue creme. The application on this one was really nice. Went on so smooth and was almost opaque in 1 coat! It's also a blue that doesn't stain!!
I love this color. It's perfect for Spring and Summer!

Last, but certainly not least is Morgan

Morgan is my favorite out of the bunch. I love purple polishes. (thanks to my mom)
Julep says Morgan is a frosty grape. I agree she is frosty but I don't think she is grape. I think she is GRRRR8-pe AHAHAHA get it?!?! Grrrrr8-pe!! I crack myself up!!
Anywho, application was great (hahaha). And even though it is a frost there isn't much visible brush stroke's.
As you can see there's some blue and magenta shimmer in there too which gives it more depth.
I love this one and will most likely use it again...and again.....and again :).

Here is some nail art I did using Blake and Claire!

China Glaze Bohemian Luster Chrome Unpredictable Swatches and Review

Hello everyone,

Today I'm going to show you last polish in the China Glaze Bohemian Luster Chrome Collection : Unpredictable.

Unpredictable is a teal-y green that shift to a golden green and at times a dark forest green. It is very similar to Rare & Radiant, but not the same. The duochrome on this one is very strong, like Swanky Silk. I like it.

Overall I am very pleased with this collection. The formula on all is exceptional and easy to apply. Dry time is normal. While this collection isn't the most unique duochrome's we have seen, it is beautiful!

I hope you enjoy'd mt swatches and review of the China Glaze Bohemian Luster Chrome Collection and if you bought the collection I hope you love yours as much as I love mine!!

Well, there you have it! What do you think?

China Glaze Bohemian Luster Chrome Swanky Silk Swatches and Review

Hello everyone!

It feels like forever since I put a post up!! I am really sorry about that! It has been so nice out and with school starting soon, we have been super busy.
So, today I'm going to show you another polish from China Glaze's Bohemian Luster Chrome Collection. This one is Swanky Silk.

Swanky Silk was such a PITA to photograph that I almost didn't post these :(

Swanky Silk is champagne/gold almost nude at times, rose/pink duochrome. In person, the duochrome is a lot stronger then the other's (except R&R) in the collection.
Like most of the Bohemian Luster Collection it was quite sheer. What you see is 3 thin coats without a top coat.
The formula on this one was thin and easy to apply. And because it has a metallic finish, there is "some" visible brush strokes, but not to much that it ruin's the mani :)
What do you all think?
I honestly can't decide if I like this one or not : /  I think it clashes with my skin tone :(.

There you have it. I have one more to show you from this collection, but you will have to wait til tomorrow hehe :)

                                               TTFN,

EDIT: I had this post and the last polish from this collection scheduled to post last week. Unfortunately, it didn't work and I don't know why :( I am very sorry about that.

*The polish in this post was purchase by ME with my own money. All opinion's and swatches are my own.I was not paid in any way for this review*

China Glaze Bohemian Luster Chrome Rare & Radiant Swatches and Review

Hello everyone!

Today I'm going to show you the 4th polish in the China Glaze Bohemian Luster Chrome Collection, Rare & Radiant!!

Rare & Radiant is a beautiful green/gold duochrome. I believe this one has the strongest duochrome of them all.
The formula on this was a lot better then I expected and application was like butter! I don't know why, but when I looked at this one I thought "Uh oh this one is going to be a pain to apply and will have oodles of brush strokes". But fortunately I was wrong.
Rare & Radiant looks to be a dupe for OPI Just Spotted The Lizard and Chanel Peridot. Unfortunately, I don't own any of those to test it out myself  for you all, But The PolishAholic and Set in Lacquer have comparison's available for you. Both ladies are awesome blogger's so while your there you should give them a follow if you haven't already.
Overall I love this one. I am still so happy I got this Collection!! It's my second favorite collection so far from China Glaze. My first, of course, is OMG because it truly is OMG!! HAHA

So there ya have it!
What do you think? If you have OPI Just Spotted the Lizard or Chanel Peridot will you be buying this one?

Thank's for reading :)

China Glaze Bohemian Luster Chrome No Plain Jane Swatches and Review

Hello everyone,

Today I'm going to show you another pretty from the China Glaze Bohemian Luster Chrome Collection.
This one is called No Plain Jane. And she truly is No Plain Jane!!

                                                                     Isn't she lovely?

I'm really not sure how to describe her, but I will try my best!
No Plain Jane shift's from purple to gold, with a wee hint of pink in it. I tried my best to capture her true color's, but it was really hard.
Application was great. She was a little on the sheer side so I used 3 coats for these.
Dry time was fast, even with the heat. And there is some visible brush stroke's, but that is to be expected.
So far I am in love with this collection! I know I keep saying that, but it's true.

So there you have it!
What do you think of her??
