Above the Curve Nail Polish-Nails for a Cause!

As alot of you know my husband and I have been making nail polish but none of you know why.
Well I am proud to announce our polish line!!

Above the Curve Nail Polish-Nails for a cause!

$1 of each polish sold will be donated to
Shriner's Hospitals for Children.

What is Shriner's Hospital for Children?
Shriner's Hospitals for Children is a health care system providing high quality pediatric specialty care to thousands of kids each year. All care is provided without financial obligation to the patient or their family, and their mission is made possible solely through the generosity of donors.

Not only do they support the child but they also provide support for the families who may not have the funds to travel to and from the hospital for appointments and places to stay the night.
You can visit thier website here .

Why Shriner's Hospital for Children?
When I was 12 years old I was diagnosed with Scoliosis.I had a 78 degree curve and had to have surgery to correct it.At 12 years old I didn't really know how to feel about it but when the kids at school found out I was quickly the target of all the bullies.I felt so alone .Then it was time for my first visit to Shriner's Hospital in Portland OR.The first thing I saw when I got there was the sign on the wall.In big letter's it read "Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children" and I remember freaking out and saying I don't belong here I'm not crippled.I was scared to death and I wanted to run far far away from there. But that quickly went away when I met the doctor's and nurses there. They were all so nice and made me feel welcome and comfortable.
After my surgery I was in ICU for 3 days hooked up to all kinds of machines then I was moved to the main recovery ward right next to the nurses station.I stayed there for 2 weeks. It was extremely hard for me being away from  my mom and sister for so long but the nurses made it a lot easier.I had met a very nice girl there too.I felt so bad for her because she didnt have any legs and only one arm with no finger's.She was so sweet and happy.I wish I could remember her name. She had been going to that hospital since she was 2 years old and at the time we met she was 16.
I am greatful for them.Without Shriner's Hospital for Children I wouldnt be alive today and if I was I certainly wouldnt have my beautiful children and wonderful husband!

I have always wanted to do something to repay them for everything they have done for me and everything they continue to do for other's and I think this is it.
We will have our Etsy shop open soon so stay tuned for that.

Thank you for reading this and I hope you help me help them!
